Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha is a highly experienced former head of the Legal Department at the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam within the Ministry of Science and Technology. With over 30 years of experience in this role, she is considered one of the foremost experts in Intellectual Property in Vietnam. Ms. Ha also served as the head of the IP negotiating team in various Free Trade Agreements, playing a pivotal role in the successful negotiation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the European Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
In addition to her expertise in negotiating, Ms. Ha has made substantial contributions to the development of important legal documents related to Intellectual Property, including the Intellectual Property Law, the National Strategy on Intellectual Property, the National Program on Intellectual Property Development, and the National Program on Developing IP Assets.
Ms. Ha holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of the Czech Republic and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Turin, Italy.
